Whew! I wasn't sure I was going to make the ORC deadline! That shower transom was such a pain, it had to be made THREE times before it could be correctly installed. Thankfully, everything is now finished and it's finally time to reveal my master bathroom renovation. I have to say, I'm very happy with the result and hope you like it too! I did make a change from my original design. When the pink sconces arrived, I decided they were too small for my mirrors, and kept them for another project. I'm actually crazy about these gold Regina Andrew sconces I used instead. They highlight my wallpaper perfectly! I've had these vintage mirrors for years and they've moved with me at least four times now. They were the perfect addition to this bathroom. Tall and dramatic, and didn't cover up too much of that fabulous wallpaper. Speaking of wallpaper... Obviously, it's my favorite thing about this bathroom. The colors are SO vibrant. I know it may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it makes me happy. There's no window in this room, so this paper brings the sunshine! I'm so glad I decided to keep my existing vanities and update them with paint and new hardware. I ended up using Sherwin Williams 'Courtyard' in a gloss finish. I hope you had fun following along with the progress and if you haven't already, please to go Calling It Home and check out all the other guest participants. There are some seriously great projects to get you inspired! I'm already thinking of what my next project will be for the Spring ORC! This event is addicting! Until next time!
